Total Depravity

Have you ever met someone who had recently accepted Calvin into their heart, right along Jesus, and quickly turned into a quasi-caged animal bloated by his own megalomaniac self-perceived educational superiority? We all know at least one cage-stage Calvinist! Most of us laugh because we used to be one. In this class, we hope to present a clear and helpful definition of each of the 5 Points of Calvinism as well as a system for thinking about these doctrines holistically. The "Doctrines of Grace" are summed up in the 5 points of Calvinism, otherwise known as the TULIP: Total Depravity, Unconditional Election, Limited Atonement, Irresistible Grace, and Perseverance of the Saints.
