Confidence in Christ

We believe that God unconditionally elects us before the foundations of the world. We know that he atones for our sins with his precious blood. We believe that his grace then irresistibly draws us unto him for salvation. But if he was to leave us after doing all of this to persevere till the end by our own strength and our own might, this would be cruel. This wouldn’t be loving of him in any way. Because we would all fail. None of us would make it to the end! We would all fall away from him and go apostate. But this couldn’t be further from the truth. God takes it upon himself to preserve us and give us the strength to persevere to the end.
